Fulfillment Coordinator

The BlueTrace fulfillment coordinator is the point person for ensuring customers get the right printers and paper. You will ensure that our fulfillment partners have sent the right products to the right customers. You will also track our inventory and handle any returns or hardware issues. 

BlueTrace is a growing start-up company in the seafood technology space. We’re reinventing traceability for shellfish farmers, wholesalers and dealers - and soon, for a broader seafood market.  

About you:

  • High degree of comfort working in an online, remote work culture using tools like GSuite, Hubspot, Slack, and Zoom -- transparency and communication is critical.
  • You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 
  • You are comfortable communicating over phone and email and have a superior attention to detail. 
  • You have a deep sense of personal responsibility and take complete ownership for the success of areas you’re assigned to manage.
  • You are comfortable working with minimal guidance, and under conditions of uncertainty or ambiguity. You can easily adapt when a plan changes.
  • You have a computer and internet connection so you can successfully work remotely with our team, customers, and partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with our supplier partners to ensure swift and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Manage inventories of printers and paper to ensure we are able to deliver on our promises. This includes working with the sales team to forecast needs and anticipate issues. 
  • Handle any printer/paper quality or support issues including escalating troubleshooting and handling any returns.
  • Work with custom brokers in Canada as needed.
  • Communicate with the sales team so they can work closely with their clients.
  • At least 1 hour each work day to check in on all ongoing and new orders.
  • Once a week producing an inventory report.
  • Work with the CEO to find the best suppliers and order more supplies.

Compensation and benefits:

  • This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours that will be compensated using an agreed upon hour rate. 
  • We’re targeting 8-10 hours a week at a rate of $20/hour.
  • We would work with you to craft a schedule that works for you with a high degree of flexibility provided that there’s clear communications about working and non-working hours.
